Economic Planning Department
The Economic Planning department (EPD) is a key department in MEPB. The Department functions as the ‘think tank’ of the Government, and provides advisory services towards the economic growth and development of the state. Its functions involve the development, management and coordination of plans and policies for the MDAs.
The department is also tasked with providing cutting-edge and leading economic policy solutions to drive the state’s economic sustainable development and growth, and the provision of technical support and oversight functions for Planning Units state wide.

To be the Think-Tank of the state government, constantly driving dynamic socio-economic policies to establish Lagos State as a global, economic and financial hub.

To continuously develop and analyse Government policies that will facilitate the effective and efficient socio-economic growth and development of Lagos state
